Camonk - 2010-04-09

Now if only everybody would handle Palin the same way.

Xenocide - 2010-04-09

There really needs to be a general "quiet, the adults are talking" attitude taken toward her and Glen Beck.

Some would say that risks the Democrats being seen as "smug" and "elitist." Well, it does, but in Teabagger world, an elitist is anyone who finished high school.

baleen - 2010-04-09

"There really needs to be a general 'quiet, the adults are talking' attitude taken toward her and Glen Beck. "

There sort of already is. Palin and Beck are sort of a gift to the Democrats. The key is not to sound too condescending while still making them look petty and stupid. A lot of Republicans are deeply ashamed of them, more so than I am of Michael Moore and Keith Olbermann, neither of whom I pay any attention to.

Scrotum H. Vainglorious - 2010-04-09

But yet none of those Republicans have the balls to openly express their displeasure about how their party has been co-opted by the stupid. It's either tow the party line or GTFO and so far they seem content to not rock the boat.

charmlessman - 2010-04-09

That should be the clarion call. "Last I checked, Sarah Palin isn't an expert in {fill in the blank with everything except moose}"

rastarat - 2010-04-09

The pause says so much.

RockBolt - 2010-04-10

He could have just stopped at "not much of an expert"

jadeite - 2010-04-09

You know who else would not retaliate? Jesus.

socialist_hentai - 2010-04-09

The dude who first introduced the idea of eternal punishment for finite transgression in the book, yeah he was a real pacifist.

heyitslozeau - 2010-04-13

That wasn't Jesus dude.

pineapplejuicer - 2010-04-09

read as "eat my shit, wolfhunter"

jangbones - 2010-04-09

who is this intended for?

normal, halfway intelligent people already laugh at everything that palin says

people who like palin live on a planet where obama hates america and is a muslim antichirst socialist facsist

pastorofmuppets - 2010-04-10

...and they wait for her to dumb things down to their level (regardless of whether what she says is true) and then praise her for being "a real person" they can "identify with" who has "good ideas" and isn't "elitist."

oh and they represent half of the voters.

those of you not planning to vote in 2012 because you're cynical fucks... i hate you, and if obama has only one term i will spend what would have been his second term picking up dog poop so that i can mail it to you every day. thank you.

Caminante Nocturno - 2010-04-09

I would trust Sarah Palin to accurately describe elementary school playground politics, but absolutely nothing higher than that.

Xenocide - 2010-04-09

As a Christian, Sarah Palin has nothing but contempt for children who turn the other cheek.

The Mothership - 2010-04-10

Stars for Cam and Xeno.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2010-04-10

I think you're giving her too much credit.

memedumpster - 2010-04-10

If she were capable of elementary school playground politics, she could be the leader of any country in the world, since that's how the earth operates. She's more the sit in class on a sunny day and eat glue politics.

Keefu - 2010-04-09

He should have name dropped Reagan, Bush senior, etc.

FABIO - 2010-04-09

He should have just repeated it verbatim with an open mouthed pause between each word.

Cleaner82 - 2010-04-09

Oooh ho ho ho.

love - 2010-04-09

HAHA

snothouse - 2010-04-09

Regardless of policies...one of our coolest presidents.

glasseye - 2010-04-10

That he happens to be cool *and* have good policies is all sorts of extra bonus. Quite the change indeed.

kennydra - 2010-04-09

pretty much.

Robin Kestrel - 2010-04-09

Obama added: "If the secretary of Defense and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff are comfortable with it, I'm probably going to take my advice from them and not from Sarah Palin."

Syd Midnight - 2010-04-10

That one time they asked her and Biden under what circumstances they'd use nuclear weapons... she sure knew how to duck and cover! *rimshot*

pastorofmuppets - 2010-04-10

The fact that not everyone who watched the VP debate came away thinking she should never speak to anyone about politics again (a) blows my mind and (b) is a good window on why our country is as fucked up as it is.

cognitivedissonance - 2010-04-10

This is the woman who thinks she can see Russia from her porch.
