Last episode of Impact they had this guy come out and while eating strawberries i believe, squeeze some sort of edible white "goo" all over his chest then mouth/lips, then licks it off his lips all the while staring down his opponent who's in the ring confused as fuck.

splatterbabble - 2010-04-10

Confused because the safe-word was supposed to be "strawberry".

Urkel Forever - 2010-04-10

I really hate wrestling, but I'm loving this: A wrestler trolling the soap opera's fans in the trailer park.

augias - 2010-04-10

That is one sexy dude

memedumpster - 2010-04-10

This doesn't go far enough. I will be impressed with wrestling when out of nowhere one day Hard Gay jumps into the ring with a folding chair strapped to his crotch.

memedumpster - 2010-04-10

But it was distracting enough to where I didn't notice I had clicked five stars, so, five stars.

mashedtater - 2010-04-10

a folding chair?

Lurchi - 2010-04-10

One time HHH said "I might be bi- a lot of things, but lingual ain't one of them."

themilkshark - 2010-04-10

I love TNA

Candlejackv616 - 2010-04-10

Ditto, I think this shit is brilliant, way better than the PG stuff going on in WWE.

Hooper_X - 2010-04-10

For a company whose business model is mostly "let's see what we can do with Vince McMahon's leftovers," they do some interesting work.

Riskbreaker - 2010-04-10

Are you guys liking the Hogan era? Really? I've never been a fan of TNA, but these days they are doing nothing but dumb gimmicks (this one is not bad) and wasting a lot of talent.

Candlejackv616 - 2010-04-11

Well while I personally have been watching TNA for awhile, and still do, im 50/50 when it comes to the hogan era. lately its gotten better, RVD coming in and what not is a huge fucking bonus, plus they got rid of the Nasties and Val Venis. that said they let some people go that just screamed bad idea.

I do agree on some talent being wasted though. gimmick wise the only gimmicks that blow are Rob Terry and Abyss's current "hogan paint job" they got going on with him (half the time he looks like hes covered in splats of mustard and ketchup), plus the less said about The Band ( or whatever the fuck they end up calling themselves) the better.

All in all its been improving as of late, getting back to what it use to be before Hogan came in, plus its still even with hogan better than WWE's current product. To be honest though Bischoff is fucking funny, great heel rather enjoying him on camera.

twinkieafternoon - 2010-04-11

My only problem with Hogan/Bischoff TNA is how the solution Bischoff and Hogan brought in to bring it to "ratings dominance" is so transparently the same thing Bischoff tried when he took over WCW as executive producer in '94: spend a lot of money on free agents/old WWE guys, try a bunch of "controversial" gimmicks and ideas that only appeal to die-hards and adults, ... , profit. And we all know how that ended.

The television market has changed; there's just no such thing as "Must See TV" anymore, because a show's reputation is what drives viewers to catch up something if it's good later on with DVR, the internet, Netflix, Hulu, season DVDs, etc. Yet, Bischoff continues to not promote major debuts or hooks, hoping "surprises" will spike TNA's ratings when there is no such thing as "surprises" anymore. WWE adjusted; they have Cena to drive young interest and they book major PPVs months in advance now, giving them time to build big match stories the way a TV show season is written ahead of time. TNA leads to learn to do the same.

They obviously have good wrestlers, but the booking is a little too week-to-week for my liking, and the PPV's never stand out as meaningful because of it.

tl;dr - Abyss-amania can suck my dick, and the Phenomenal Nature One gimmick is wearing on me fast.

Riskbreaker - 2010-04-11

TNA depends way too much on veterans, it's cool to see them pushing new blood, but for every Orlando there's another boring main event with Sting, Mick Foley, or someone else in that vein. They also should just stop using poorly scripted stuff, like Sting attacking RVD in his debut. How exactly do they want to make a difference from the WWE material when they're just rehashing it?

Maggot Brain - 2010-04-10

That kid is going to develop a deep-seeded homophobia all because this ass hole didn't high five him. Then again, how much weirder would this be if he did?

Unmerciful Crushing Force - 2010-04-11

The appearance of the kid alone gives me this my five stars.

Spoonybard - 2010-04-10

That is a pretty bisexual decor

a flaming monkey - 2010-04-10

it made things clear

Hooper_X - 2010-04-10

Miscegenation AND bisexuality?

I'll take three!

socialist_hentai - 2010-04-10

I always hoped TNA would arise as a viable opponent to the McMahon empire. Shine on, and may the Monday night wars rage again!
