manfred - 2010-04-23

Albuquerque Halsey - 2010-04-23

SolRo - 2010-04-23

I'm not cool enough to use firefox and it's built in spell checkers.

Or I just don't give a shit about having perfect spelling every second of every day ON THE INTERNETS.

Severian - 2010-04-23

chairsforcheap - 2010-04-23

sometimes smart people can just spell things right... may sound weird.

Camonk - 2010-04-23

Whoah Solro's an idiot who does more harm to whatever he's supporting than good because he's so dumb whoah call that newspaper that only reports shit that happens every day

SolRo ain't even worth a new joke from my ass.

mantang0 - 2010-04-23

irregardless, you should at least try

Camonk - 2010-04-24

You're right. I should hold myself to a higher standard.

Xenocide - 2010-04-23

He's wrong. We really do need the government to step in and tell us to pray with better grammar. This fact isn't taught in schools very much anymore, but back in the early 1900's, there was a popular trend of using as many double-negatives as possible when praying. Well, one day God got sick of it, and -boom- suddenly everyone had Polio.

Also, stop asking Him to help your team make field goals. God doesn't care about sports, aside from His all-consuming hatred of the Cubs.

HarrietTubmanPI - 2010-04-23

It's sad when an actual Reverend has to school a talking head on religion and not the other way around.

biclops - 2010-04-23

You're upset that this man understands the subject that he is, by profession, an expert in?

manfred - 2010-04-23

you are an ignoramus if you believe a reverend is an expert in anything except self-deception.

biclops - 2010-04-23

Watch the video again, then re-read your comment.

manfred - 2010-04-23

he doesn't seem particularly clever to me. the same "founding fathers blablablah" arguments can be heard from any boring fatty youtube libertarian-atheist, who i suspect lacks formal theological education. who gives a flying cunt if andrew jackson the indian slayer believed in jesusjehova or not?

Konversekid - 2010-04-23

It still is pretty sad since the Reverend is the one arguing for secular rights.

biclops - 2010-04-23

Indeed, what a jerk for bringing up the founding fathers of America in this argument.

biclops - 2010-04-23

THAT IS NOT SAD
THAT IS THE OPPOSITE OF SAD
BE FUCKING HAPPY, ASSHOLES!

Hooker - 2010-04-23

Does Megyn Kelly even have a stake in any of the stuff she pushes? With O'Reilly and Hannity and the rest, I get the impression that they truly believe in the crazy bullshit they spout off, but with Kelly I just get the impression that she's a moral whore that will toe any line her employers want.

pastorofmuppets - 2010-04-23

I'm guessing it's a combination of:
- incredibly sheltered
- believes the conservative ends justify the Fox News means
- fashionably racist
- willing to sell soul to be a tv personality

At the very least you'd think a lawyer would understand that it doesn't matter who's marginalizing who, it matters what the law says. But whatever. Good job being pretty on tv though, Meg! I'm sure everyone back home is proud.

StanleyPain - 2010-04-23

Interestingly enough she said NOTHING when Christopher Hitchens was on. Guess she needs to choose her battles.

pastorofmuppets - 2010-04-23

All you have to do to make Hitchens look dumb is let him talk.

StanleyPain - 2010-04-23

OOH EDGY.

Hitchens is taken down a few pegs, good sir.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2010-04-23

Prayer helped kill all those unnecessary Native people when Christians were having a good old fashioned genocide. This country was built on prayer. And bodies.

Lazer Chachi - 2010-04-23

Holy shit, I think this guy is the real Jesus.

socialist_hentai - 2010-04-23

NOW... NOW... NOW... NOW... NOW... NOW...

Also: Megan Kelly has so much makeup on she almost looks like she's CGI.

split tail - 2010-04-23

can we have a national 'I see!' day?

phalsebob - 2010-04-23

"...why can't it be a day where we take a moment and we stop and we acknowledge the role that God has played in the formation of this country and its laws. What's so promotional about religion there."

I don't even know what to say here.

Damn.

Ocyrus - 2010-04-24

I support mandatory sterilization for FoxNews personalities!

Riskbreaker - 2010-04-24

Delicious xtian tears.

nemeses9 - 2010-04-25

Can someone explain this "NOT LETTING US USE OUR RELIGION TO CONTROL EVERYONE'S LIVES = VIOLATION OF OUR RELIGIOUS LIBERTIES!" that people keep spewing?

It's as bad as all the anti hatecrimes bill people.
