"We have them on every coast. Thank you very much." Peter Jennings was a class fucking act.

Timothy A. Bear - 2010-04-24

When Howard Stern sequestered himself to pay radio it was a loss to our culture.

jangbones - 2010-04-24

Al Michaels and Billy West talking about this call was a riot.

"Excuse me Peter, you might be the stupidest man on the face of the planet."

grep - 2010-04-24

Howard Stern didn't do this. A fan that wanted his attention did this. Stern himself doesn't do anything besides read jokes sent to him on a messenger from Fred or Arty. In between everyone else being funny, he just talks about how he invented everything.

(Beavis and Butthead, Reality TV, Street Interviews, MTV Unplugged, and American Idle are all "stolen inventions of his".)

Don't forget working 1/3 of the year an endlessly talking about how grateful his fans should be that he's there. Then there is the product integration advertising, and actually turning his show into and infomercial about Sirius. Both before he was on it and after. Yeah he advertises Sirius to subscribers on Sirius during his show. When he's not hawking his PPV channel that is.

Stern hasn't been good for a really really long time. This was probably Captain Janks.

spikestoyiu - 2010-04-24

Dude didn't claim Stern did this, but it was aired on his show. Also, holy shit, calm down.

Torture the Artist - 2010-04-24

Hearing a boring and stupid thing and assuming Howard Stern did it is a pretty safe gamble, generally.

Seriously, he fucking sucks.

snothouse - 2010-04-24

I remember this, clear as day.

Camonk - 2010-04-24

Could at least have made the actual call kind of funny instead of boring, believable non-details. You're on national TV, man! Go buck wild!

rev.dinosaur - 2010-04-24

You could say that about every Howard Stern prank call every committed.

Hay Belly - 2010-04-24

This isn't a "Howard Stern" prank call. It was made by someone who was annoyed his basketball game was interrupted. It is also the best prank call ever. hth

Robin Kestrel - 2010-04-24

"Baba Booey" isn't a Howard Stern prank, you say? Interesting.

Hooper_X - 2010-04-25

Technically, a "Howard Stern prank" would be a prank implemented by Howard Stern or an associate with the full knowledge of Howard Stern. This was a random individual giving Stern a shoutout during his own prank. A wildcat prank, if you will.

(Youtube is fucking FULL of random idiots walking up behind news live shots and yelling BABABOOEY BABABOOEY STERN RULES)

abeli$con - 2010-04-24

this is still reasonably funny even after 15 years of hearing it
