I saw it opening day too, but in retrospect I realize that I ignored the warning signs deep in my gut while watching the special editions in the theater beforehand. My denial then enabled by disappointment later.
My dad gave me speeches like that except about 70s rock and my youthful preference for Ozzy over Sabbath.
And he was right to. (also 5 for spaced etc etc)
The kid needed to hear it sometime.
