For police trying to make the bike backing up sound more menacing than what looks like a random psycho pulling a gun out and trying to bike-jack.

|
MaulLove - 2010-05-23 How dare he back up when a crazy person with a gun charges him! HOW DARE HE!

nemeses9 - 2010-05-23
Fuck everything.

That's a pretty good joke, you guys.
Ha ha. You can stop kidding around now.

The Maryland State Police probably have a good reason for trying to put this motorcyclist on trial, and one that is TOTALLY not because this officer acted like an unprofessional thug and made them look bad by failing to show any ID asides from his pistol, making a traffic stop on a busy roadway in a vehicle with no signalling or emergency equipment and presenting deadly force in a situation that didn't call for it.
Nope, probably not for that reason at all.

Looks like America has a little pinch of a problem with their police. Let's just be glad it wasn't a sleeping seven year old black girl on the bike or it could have gotten really ugly.
|
Cena_mark - 2010-05-23 That's Maryland. Cops are better in other states.
|
|
Cena_mark - 2010-05-23 What about Maryland? It sucks, its very liberal, and you'll catch crabs going there.
|
garcet71283 - 2010-05-24 The liberal states do tend to have more of these types of incidents, admittedly. Living in Washington, such stories are common.
|
glasseye - 2010-05-24 That's only because in conservative states the cop pulls the trigger.

Put them all in an arena with spike on the walls, and then tie their hands together with a rag and arm them each with a knife.
Then put the arena on the "GRAVITAR" ride at the state fair and let 'er rip.

Five stars cause I guess this could've been worse? We could have this guy's helmet cam footage of him being shot to death by the police, after all.

theSnake - 2010-05-23
Hey, some asshole with a gay ass motorcycle is popping wheeling and speeding down a crowded highway, how dare an undercover officer pull him over and issue him a ticket.
Hey I wonder how he knew to pull over in the first place? Its not like unmarked cars have sirens and lights, oh wait they do.
|
|
sosage - 2010-05-24 Hey, how is everyone voting? Okay, I'm gonna vote opposite and act like I have a difficult time understanding the video.
|
phalsebob - 2010-05-24 Did you watch the video? He's being threatened with jail time for filming a cop. I guess fascism is awesome.
|
Rodents of Unusual Size - 2010-05-24
The only reason I can think of to have a law like this is to avoid anyone filming police brutality fuck ups. Unless you also plan to prosecute when you film and catch criminals doing crimes with your video camera as well.
|
|
Lazer Chachi - 2010-05-24
Maybe all the people driving by the motorcycle can also press charges against the motorcyclist for being filmed without their consent.
|
Chibisuke - 2010-05-24
I don't see how they can prosecute this guy unless they also prosecute every single person in their state who uses a video camera on public property.

Mister Yuck - 2010-05-24
Hey guys, if you drive fast enough, the cops will pull their guns when they pull you over. This is only news if you don't know any tremendous assholes who do 80 in a school zone, get pulled over, and tell the story proudly because they can afford the ticket. I don't really get the rage over the plainclothes cop pulling the gun. He didn't wave it around and he put it away quickly. Yes he probably scared the shit out of the biker, but he didn't endanger his life.
The evil here is the state's attorney and the felony for recording cops.

I'm glad the local news media swooped in to catch this story.

Ummm....this is not about video, hence the word "audibly" used about a dozen times.
This is more like a illegal phone tapping case.
