I ain't got the time nor the talent with google to find interviews with the jury that acquitted these guys; all I can find is articles about their firing. I would love to hear what the 12 fine citizens of Las Vegas who watched this video thought about it. Or what's going on with quotes like these:

"the man [Vargas] later apologized to casino personnel, told police he didn't want to pursue the matter, and testified at trial that he didn't believe criminal charges were appropriate"

What I would really like is to read the rationalization of jurors who felt that a defenseless man deserved this treatment from police because of reasons.

I feel the same way, the cops obviously lied in their report, the video proves that. I haven't seen any interviews with the jurors, but I'll keep an eye out.

I hadn't heard about this case until yesterday, when the lawyer of the cop who is witnessing the slamming protested the release of this video:

"An attorney who won acquittal for a former North Las Vegas police officer on a false report charge is protesting the release of a casino detention room survillance video showing his client watching another officer throw a handcuffed man to the floor.

Attorney Richard Schonfeld on Wednesday called it "offensive" that the video was made public days after a Nevada jury found former officers James Balelo and Mark Alan Miles not guilty in the December 2008 incident."
