I had no idea that Simpsons bit about Grandpa becoming a love testing machine had any satirical basis.

This intro was excruciating but did it really have to be a minute and a half long??

There are times when I lament that adding commercial slots to TV shows is done at the expense of shows having longer theme songs.

This is not one of those times.

Pretty much the platonic ideal of an unsustainable premise.

I've never watched an entire episode of this show, yet the theme song is horribly etched upon my brain.

Even when I was a kid, this was unwatchable.

...There are two huge fucking windows on the front of the jukebox, yet they have eyes pop out of the top of it? That seems like a pretty counterintuitive design decision.

Even when I was a kid I never got why he couldn't take you for a ride tonight. Why not tonight? What's he doing tonight that's so damn important? He's a jukebox that lives in a basement.

The sad thing is, C.L.Y.D.E. currently airs on This TV. Cookie Jar, CINAR's successor, programs its childrens' block.

So, was this some sort of deliberate attempt by a Franco-Canadian partnership to produce a cartoon even worse than their respective countries usually produce? If so, then well mission accomplished.

The Rubik's Cube cartoon now has dignity.

The premise of an alien brain in a jukebox at least sounded fun for the surreality of it all... then I saw the juke come alive. It was downhill from there.
