Barn owls creep me out; I think it has something to do with how their faces look like masks. And the noises they make.

I'm pretty sure owls are related to the snow beast the dentist elf fixes in Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

That was like an avian Cerberus.

For me this was yet another reminder of how the end of "Cloverfield" fucked me up for life.
