That's kind of funny considering that some rather shadowy people in the 80's may or may not have wanted a full on military coup backed by a junta with LaRouche as Supreme Chancellor.
Big deal, they think every President is like Hitler. I mean, I've personally known LaRouchians or whatever you'd call them - I used to go to college with a few and ended up with one of those guys as a coworker a few years later.
I was told via mutal acquaintences that he still drives around in his beat-up Pontiac with a huge RON PAUL bumpersticker on it, but also still volunteers to hand out pamphlets and such for the LaRouche people.
They are honestly a cult or something like it.
They're similar in many ways to the Randians, Rapture Christians, and 'Alex Jones' followers.
Like the Randians they have enough education to be confident they have the answers, but not enough to question their ideological messiah crazy pronouncements.
Like Rapture Christians they unite through bigotry and believe all doomsday prophecies no matter how often they fail.
And like Jones-ites there's conspiracy too ridiculous to believe, or person too moderate to call a Nazi.
