Not to steal from Mr. Nocturno's thunder as "That Anime Guy" but I couldn't help but be reminded of the one-wheel cycles seen in the 80's sci-fi anime flick "Venus Wars". Except those were being driven much faster in either off-road races or combat.

These would be (and will be) awesome if/when they increase speeds and improve the looks. I saw a mock-up of one a few years ago and it basically just looked like a badass motorcycle.
