I'm fiving this because I just had to assemble a "panorama" taken by people who think you can just sort of aim the camera by hand and it fits together perfectly. Unless this software can do that, in which case, five for that too.

Um, Photoshop does a pretty good job of stitching photos. So yeah, software does that.

Just to make a note here:
That is actually the guy from the Double Rainbow video. Microsoft hired him to do this commercial.

It's like old people trying to be "hip" and "with it".

Come on guys, cut them some slack here. They had to wait that long for another double rainbow to show up.
+1 for hiring the actual guy
+1 for him being willing to make fun of himself
+1 for him looking exactly like what I'd expect him to
This video deserves 8 stars.

Old_Zircon - 2010-12-20 Yeah, him actually looking like that makes this at least 5 star material.

I've seen a lot of people knocking this as a tired meme, but according to Google Trends, "Double Rainbow" peaked in popularity about 1/3 of the way through June. Considering how absolutely terrible most Microsoft ads are (see also Windows 7 Parties, Songsmith) I've got to hand it to them for turning this around as quickly as they did, and not completely fucking up in the process.

It must be hard to line the photos up perfectly.
Also, that guy does NOT belong in front of a camera.
