wow 20 seconds in and I'm going no further, that's worth 5 stars.

So I bought this on Steam when I was waiting for Heavy Rain to come out but I could never get it to actually run. Should I be sad, or glad?

Old_Zircon - 2010-09-10

I'm playing it (Fahrenheit, not sure how different it is from the US version) this week, and so far I like it a lot.

please comment back when you've finished it and give us your thoughts.

the ending, or rather all of the endings are... spectacular.

RockBolt - 2010-09-10

Stop at the end of the amusement park and just tell yourself that the game ends right there, that is the only way to walk away happy with the game

pineapplejuicer - 2010-09-10

i liked this game, it had one of the best openings ever

RocketBlender - 2010-09-10

Covering up the murder you just committed, then solving it, was pretty awesome. The whole thing was pretty solid, sans the awkward sex scene and the way it unraveled a bit near the end. Overall, fun game though.

That said, couldn't get more than a minute in. Terrible.
Also, before anyone bitches about spoilers in my post, don't bother. If you haven't played it already, there's no chance in hell this video was going to motivate you to.

Psychadelic Eyeball?

FABIO - 2010-09-10

Remember when the last hour of Metal Gear Solid 2 took you totally be surprise?

The entire last half of Indigo prophecy blows that out of the water for sheer incoherence.

I really loved this game up until that point; it was pretty much The Fugitive with a supernatural twist. Imagine if you were watching The Fugitive up until Harrison Ford jumps out the waterfall, only to be picked up by passing aliens who bring him back to life and inform him that their race is at war with a cabal of 12th century Spanish inquisition cardinals who are trying to find out the government lab where E.T. is kept. Suddenly the terminator comes through a time portal to assassinate you but at the last minute you're saved by gypsies who reveal that they've always been an underground resistance group fighting Skynet.

That is essentially how bat shit Indigo Prophecy gets.

For anyone still interested, besides Heavy Rain I'd recommend Alan Wake. It's like some bizarre mix of Indigo Prophecy and Max Payne.

RocketBlender - 2010-09-10

I enjoyed Heavy Rain, but it's hard to recommend at , especially when you play it a second time, trying to do stuff differently, and you realize just how little control you actually have at times. I know I sound like Yahtzee about now, but I stand by the statement.

I thought Alan Wake was just fantastic.

FABIO - 2010-09-10

Oh, and also during the last 15 minutes of The Fugitive in the midst of conquistadors vs terminators vs gypsies vs Harrison Ford with Dragon Ball Z powers, the characters find out that an asteroid is about to hit the Earth, and the secret underground machine fighting gypsies reveal that they've managed to get their hands on a tug boat, which Harrison Ford must use to climb the Andes, where E.T. will tell him how to stop the asteroid.

Severian - 2010-09-10

Let Johnny get gagged.

I probably would have liked this game if the controls hadn't been shit.

chumbucket - 2010-09-10

so yeah, hey, I'd love to watch you play the rest of this game like this but I uh I got this thing to go do now...yeah it's just this thing today, like an ALL DAY thing, so yeah I gotta go do that now yeah so hey have fun with this ok? sorry man, you know, the thing. bye
