since i have the resources present, im going to to test IrishWhiskey's theory from above. im going to watch the clip, rate it once, smoke some pot, watch the clip again, and then re-rate it.

initial viewing: i mean, pretty standard tim and eric here. a lot of the jokes center on uncomfortable closeups of people not attractive enough for television and nonsensical cheers/rambling/jokes ("no man you don't get its like deconstructing comedy and showing the absurdity of etc etc etc") and then the babies pop out of her stomach, i guess its kinda funny? i've seen much better from them. 3.

secondary viewing: well that was a smart thing to do when i have a chest cold. are those celebrities from the 80's im not recognizing or is that a bias based on the first suitor's hair? obscure celebrities might make it funnier, maybe not though. oh i get it, its all dadaist because he's wacky dancing and shouting at the camera. i just don't know, the second and third guys don't really elicit any response. the savior is kinda funny i guess, he's bald and wearing a denim shirt and pants and therefore looks like a pedophile, an image enhanced by his sudden appearance in her uterus next to her naked mustachioed twins. but you know what? the part of me that thinks tim and eric are actually an extremely clever comedy troupe whose entire schtick revolves around the absurdity of normalcy is overshadowed by the part of me that thinks its something that rarely elicits a "ha ha" kind of funny response and is instead an irritating and "nouveau riche" kind of humor, if you will; its new on the scene so it feels like it has to overcompensate, which is probably why it is beloved by so many hipsters. still 3.
