I concur. I was honestly ready to 1-star this just because the onion has gotten pretty retarded lately....... but this was honestly a lot better than I've seen recently.... and much creepier.
This seems like pretty harsh satire to level at a minor, it almost seems creepier that the Onion chose to do this than how they did it. Five for kind of sleazy uncomfortable evil.
The sheer amount of vitriol directed at Bieber is astounding. He's just another disposable teen idol with a bad haircut yet grown adults get reduced to a frothing rage at his mere mention.
He's just in the "we haven't found any crippling flaws yet" phase of people hating him, which will be reduced once it is discovered he is addicted to something and/or beats his mother off camera. Then increased once he relapses, then decreased...then completely disappears once he gets killed somehow.
If you want to be charitable, you can paint this video as criticism of adults selling skeezy Disneyfied sex to little kids through cynically exploited vehicles like this kid and Hanna Montana. The "under the mask it's really a sick adult" thing being a metaphor and so on.
That's probably giving Onion way too much credit, though. Way, way too much.
