I find Mystery's "methods" similar to equipping a child with floaters and putting them in a shallow pool. His subjects get a few "flotation devices" and are put into a public "pool" of male/female sociality, but at no point has he really ever taught these fools to swim, and they'd surely drown out in the ocean.
