amazing. here's part 2 utilizing the unfortunate "it's my intellectual property if its just me filming my television" loophole

anybody know what weight glove they use? 12s or 14s? or lighter than that?

If anyone finds better quality, update it... It looks a ton better if its not so choppy.

Often people watch fights and will do the Monday-morning quarterback thing: "He should have... He definitely shouldn't have... I could've done much better, etc."
I doubt many people would actually think they could do better here.

Toenails - 2010-11-04 I was thinking that that blue gloves was pretty much in control by keeping himself in the center of the ring and leaving his opponent no choice but to stay close to the ropes. Then I was taught that this isn't a chess game and I should really should just shut up and enjoy a great fight. My God, what a great fight it was!
I would like to say that "PUNCH WHITE FACES" is perhaps the most appropriate tag that this video is missing. "Like the fist of angry God" would be a good one also, if it actually existed.

Once it was over I couldn't help but think "I would pay good money to see a 4th round!" Lucky me!

When I saw the title, I immediately knew which fight it would be. Even though they handicap against muay Thai fighters, K-1 easily puts on the most entertaining shows in combat sports, again and again.
|
pineapplejuicer - 2010-11-04 the lack of ground game certainly keeps the pace up. ive always wondered what the UFC would be like if they made them used closed-finger gloves
|
dancingshadow - 2010-11-04 The ground game is boring when the guy on the top has enough skill/power to stay there but not enough to finish. This was really common in the early to mid UFC. There's been some amazing ground fights lately tho, smoothly reversing and throwing like crazy lizards or something.
|
spikestoyiu - 2010-11-04 I've been doing Brazilian jiu-jitsu myself for maybe six or seven years now, and even I'm occasionally bored my groundwork. K-1 rules actually penalize fighters monetarily for not going balls out.

Riveting I guess.

spikestoyiu - 2010-11-04 Someone's mad they're not good at sports.

Anaxagoras - 2010-11-04
This would have much more enjoyable if they had strangled the announcers for entertainment in between the rounds.
|
Anaxagoras - 2010-11-04 Damnit. That was supposed to be 3 stars. THE RATING FOR THIS VIDEO NO LONGER REPRESENTS THE WILL OF THE MASSES.

See, this is what MMA was sold to me as, not just two dudes grunting on the ground the whole match. They need to cut out all the boring Greek wrestling bullshit ground work and kick more dudes in the face.

That's the kind of commentating I'd expect to hear at fighting game tournaments.

urbanelf - 2010-11-04
5 for 1:10 "Shit just got real!"

MacGyver Style Bomb - 2010-11-05 And the end of round 3: "YOU CRAZY BASTARDS! THAT WAS INSANE!"
