This was the best movie in the world when I was 12. I kept telling my parents that the Street Fighter game was based off this movie, and that this movie was based off of TRUE EVENTS, so, therefore, STREET FIGHTER WAS REAL.

I have fond memories of breaking it to my friends that Van Damme wasn't a real martial artist, that he was just a dancer. Their looks of disappointment sustain me to this day.
