dude....

poorwill - 2010-11-06

What a fucking asshole.

Urburos - 2010-11-06

Like anyone with a knife and the advantage.

simon666 - 2010-11-06

Crocs are awful death and torture machines, this guy is no asshole.

Paracelsus - 2010-11-06

Exactly. This fucking thing's brain is a Brazil nut of murder. If it had a chainsaw and opposable thumbs, it would do the same to you. No wait. It wouldn't. It would just eat you without any more thought in its tiny, vicious brain than morse code signals.

Hay Belly - 2010-11-06

So it deserves torture? Animals do not have to live by moral and ethical codes.

Adramelech - 2010-11-06

If you love crocodiles so much why don't you go marry one.

Paracelsus - 2010-11-06

Yeah, how about coming back over to the mammal side, traitor.

poorwill - 2010-11-06

Well, it will definitely think twice about being a crocodile now.

Paracelsus - 2010-11-06

Although, joking aside, I will say that I've seen enough of this individual's hobbies.

Billie_Joe_Buttfuck - 2010-11-06

Rate this honestly and appropriately.

This is morally objectionable behavior. Evil. I'm going to throw up a NSFW tag, also.

Adramelech - 2010-11-06

How is poking a dead body part morally objectionable behavior? It's just nerve endings bro.

facek - 2010-11-06

No, it's alive, Crocodiles have an extremely slow metabolism. This is why you're supposed to shoot them in the head, not bind their jaws and decapitate them like this retard.

RomancingTrain - 2010-11-06

They might have a slow metabolism but they still need oxygenated blood and he ain't getting it from his lungs and heart on the other side of the table.

James Woods - 2010-11-07

Yeah, you're thinking Zombies, bro.

TeenerTot - 2010-11-06

OK...totally evil.

But 5 stars for the actual YouTube title of "Headless crocodile head".

Mike Tyson?! - 2010-11-06

Pretty sure all reptiles do this when you cut their head off. It's just the nerves, right?

Johnny Madhouse - 2010-11-06

Yeah, same as birds. Or humans, if the stories of guillotine victims blinking a pre-arranged pattern for a doctor's benefit are to be believed. (Which implies the head is capable of some thought after decapitation, at least in humans. Imagine watching your body fall away!)

All that aside though, I'd be more concerned about how they got the head off in the first place. Crocodile skin is pretty tough, did he have to saw through the neck? Gruesome all around.

Old_Zircon - 2010-11-06

Fish do this, too.

Hay Belly - 2010-11-06

It's not just the nerves. There's a fascinating documentary about the French Revolution and many of the people that were beheaded. A scientist told his friends he would blink for as long as he could, and he blinked I think it was 21 times?

Animal suffering deserves one star.

RomancingTrain - 2010-11-06

Yes this is trueley monstrous. A friend of mine told me once about a documentary he dreamed about where the ghost of a raccoon haunted a man that accidentally stepped on roadkill. All it did was float around the guy a cry but he says you could tell that the raccoon was really sad about the desecration of its body.

simon666 - 2010-11-06

Hay Belly, how do you justify likening the brain functions of a human to those of a crocodile?

There is an ethical argument here, I agree to that, it just doesn't follow from anything you've said.

Paracelsus - 2010-11-06

To be contrarian: All food production is based on animal cruelty that is arguably worse than this. Jabbing this body part with a knife vs. the now-familiar conditions under which feed stock are grown, produced, and processed: discuss.

The Huggable Universe - 2010-11-06

If I had children, I would not buy them this version of the Crocodile Dentist game.

TeenerTot - 2010-11-06

You should see their homemade Hungry Hungry Hippos.

takewithfood - 2010-11-06

Operation.

Stopheles - 2010-11-06

Mr. Mouth

mashedtater - 2010-11-06

five for you universe, for making this a little brighter.

pineapplejuicer - 2010-11-06

have you guys seen "swamp people"?

fulakarp - 2010-11-06

Crocodile tears :'(

Dread Pirate Roberts - 2010-11-06

As it stands: nerves or not... I cannot abide by the abuse of anything alive, or that was alive. Very evil.... evil enough to take away all the stars I can....

simon666 - 2010-11-06

As trees were once alive, I cannot abide by the nailing of boards. As vegetables were once alive, I cannot abide by chewing them, dismembering their once majestic shape.

I don't step on ants either. In fact, I'm a practicing Jane. No, I'm a plant myself, I choose to get my nutrients from my roots (feet buried in the ground) and my leaves, hands stretching upward to the sun.

poorwill - 2010-11-06

You are so fucking dumb.

RomancingTrain - 2010-11-06

Its Jain, you philistine.

simon666 - 2010-11-07

I'm neither. I am pointing out, however, that such a statement as 'I cannot abide by the abuse of anything alive, or that was alive' is so terribly ambiguous it loses nearly all of its ethical merit. What is meant by "alive"? Wood qua trees is alive, spiders and mosquitoes are alive, not to mention all that we eat is or was alive. Where do you draw the line and what causes you to privileged that which you do versus that which you do not?

If chewing up say the live cells vegetables, a violent act with respect to the plant, is not abuse, why not?

I'm getting at, if it is not clear yet, that terms like "abuse" and "alive" are terms often defined in relation human-centric concepts of pain and life which do not necessarily apply to all things. In this way, you argue for a sympathy toward the crocodile insofar as the crocodile's well being matches your human definition of well being IRRESPECTIVE of the crocodile. This is ironically selfish on your part.

In this way, one should not "abuse" the crocodile not for the crocodile's sake, but for what it means about the state of one's own being with respect to the terms one defines good and bad for oneself.

Yours truly,
Dumb Fucking Philistine

poorwill - 2010-11-07

You are so, so, so fucking dumb. We know what 'alive' means, retard. No universal, non-human-centric understanding of abuse is supposed or required (whether or not one exists) - 'abuse' is synonymous with 'inhumane'.
You compared stabbing a dying animal in the eye with eating vegetables and using wood for construction purposes, neither of which constitutes 'abuse' even in our own 'selfish' understanding of the idea. God you are a fucking idiot.

simon666 - 2010-11-07

haha.

poorwill - 2010-11-07

A good troll types LESS than the people he's trolling. Amateur.

James Woods - 2010-11-07

In my opinion simon's opinion is the correct opinion.

simon666 - 2010-11-11

It was an actual laugh at what you said, not trolling.

Squeamish - 2010-11-07

No.

Syd Midnight - 2010-11-07

Oh God No
