Why does this even have to be based on Nutcracker? it feels like a totally empty afterthought. oh, and the movie looks terrible.

Freestyle is the same distributor that released Delgo. They are who you use if nobody else will put your movie out. Not even Lionsgate.

"So Clara looks retarded"...is all I could think of during this trailer. Except they named her Mary.

Pfft...I like the 90s animated version with Keifer Sutherland and Phyllis Diller way better.

Ugh, that puppet nutcracker is really, REALLY unsettling to watch.

I always hated the part of Christmas where my parents would put on the recording of the Nutcracker ballet performance. As awful as this movie looks, the kids whose parents will be forcing this on them are still getting off easy.

According to boxofficemojo.com, the film grossed 5,459 domestically with a million budget. I'm guessing several people are now blacklisted in Hollywood because of this abomination.
