"The Last Movie" was a sad time for Hopper. He's known for his involvement in "Easy Rider" but his darling was "The Last Movie", which utterly failed at the box office.

Just looked it up at IMDB, and it reminded me that his character's name in the movie is "Kansas", which is pretty personal as Hopper was born in Dodge City.

Perhaps the "Im a Kansas" tag would be relevant here?

The movie is kind of a mess though -- like El Topo meets Cannibal Holocaust, only with too many jump cuts and too much random footage. (Though, to be fair, I've only seen the Youtube version).
