As ridiculously over-sexualized and fanservicy as the Darkstalkers series was, you cant deny that Darkstalkers 3 was one of the most technical, crazy and fun fighting games of all time. What other games have a characters that can walk trough the edges of the screen Super Mario style and deattach his own legs to kick your ass with them?

I always thought babby from Fetus of God was getting shaken the fuck to death by an earthquake and it loses its shit. The only way to kill babby is by shaking it or letting fall between the gaps in a crib.

I loved the Darkstalkers games (and the OVA). I can't wait to play Darkstalkers IV.

I don't want to see Darkstalkers in something like Street Fighter's IV ugly slugish engine. Neither adopting a marvel vs capcom approach. It has to be old school or just forget it.

Capcom developers have even said it would be very difficult to do Darkstalkers in 3D due to the massive amounts of different models it would require. Some Darkstalker characters shapeshift almost constantly, and this would be a huge art budget increase, plus increase in memory usage.

They were actually planning on making a fourth installment called "Vampire Ace", but in the last minute Capcom decided that OMG AZ IF PEOPLE WOULD WANNA PLAY THAT LOL, LETS MAKE RESIDENT EVIL XIXIXIVIXIV INSTEAD! A decision most likely made by the geniuses who brought us Final Fight: Streetwise.

Jedah was always my favorite character. Le sigh, I just wish they had actually made the rumored Guilty Gear vs. Darkstalkers game. How perfect would that've been?!?! Bridget and B.B. Hood go!!!
