Cattitude was actually a character a kid from my animation school created. He had a bowler hat, white gloves and a soccer ball. He was a cat with attitude.

It was as stupid as you'd think.

Browsing the related videos finds a few more, including one where the presumed owner throws some food on the ground to lure a gator from the water with the cat at the ready.

The alligator is not retreating, it is trying to lure the tomcat close to the water. The tomcat has somehow realized this, and avoids the troll. Uu is wrong, this could go on for years. He's safe as long as the gator is on land, and can't launch himself out of the water, as is their style of attack.

My dear mother in law had a cat that constantly pinched food from her plate. The cat figured out she was blind in her left eye, and would always approach the plate from that direction. Cats are many things, but they are not stupid.
