Brian Williams: cub reporter for Vice magazine.

The Mothership - 2011-01-02

This is funny as hell, right down the uncomfortable blonde.

godot - 2011-01-03

"... what's Marrakesh?"

Kumquatxop - 2011-05-08

I thought you were kidding, godot, but it turns out you were not!

IrishWhiskey - 2011-01-02

I could kiss that man on the mouth.

He gets an extra star for not naming iPads as the media story of the year like the others apparently did. I mean, Jesus, really? iPads? Why not just name Snuggies for how easy they makes blogging?

Millard - 2011-01-03

Yeah, fuck crazy unemployment, wikileaks, endless war, or one of the biggest oil spills in world history, man, those iPads are like a computer you can touch!!!!

GravidWithHate - 2011-01-03

I like to think he was deftly taking the piss out of how self absorbed and trivial the media is with this little routine.

Toenails - 2011-01-03

In all do respect, this is MS's morning show. And all morning news is contractually obligated to be mindless fluff. That's why they neutered Scarborough and gave him this insult of a timeslot.

Brian Williams is sort of a jerk, but that makes him a-okay in my book.

Chalkdust - 2011-01-03

I hope one day to visit this "Brook-line"

Ranma X. - 2011-01-03

Five stars for, if nothing else, echoing how much I despise the New York Times Style Section.

Also Brian Williams is awesome.

baleen - 2011-01-03

Feel you on the first sentence 100%.
Made worse by the fact that I know one of the columnists for NYT Fashion/Style and I HAVE HATRED FOR HER on a deeply personal level.

ShiftlessRastus - 2011-01-03

I already gave stars, but upon replay, I wish I could give five more for "flash artisanal markets".

The Mothership - 2011-01-03

Yea, that did it for me, too.

Oscar Wildcat - 2011-01-03

Five evil stars for the proof that if the networks allowed the talent to actually work, rather than read off commercials for consumer products, we would have entertaining television.

Also, additional evils stars for the fact that the reason the Times "discovered" Brooklyn is that the cost of living is so high in Manhattan that you need to basically defraud the entire rest of the United States just to afford living there. And they already _did_ that, so now what?

citrusmirakel - 2011-01-03

That was a series of words, all right.

dr_rock - 2011-01-11

"flash artisanal market" ... pretty clever, B-Willy.
