It definitely does not suck. Sandler's role is very small, and he plays it very subdued.

This is my favorite movie of all time ever.

Same here, after World's Greatest Dad I'll watch anything the guy wrote.

It's a bit scattershot and low-rent but there's some great cinematography and a great development of the setting. I found it legitimately clever on a level far beyond "he's a clown but he's doing awful things!"

Funny movie. Or at least it was when I was a kid.
