Nothing happened when a Becked-up lunatic with a car full of guns was stopped on the way to shoot up the Tides Foundation.

So, no, nothing will happen now.

What WILL happen is, on Monday, the usual right wing suspects will say that;
a) Loughner is liberal
b) liberals are trying to shift the blame away from themselves by blaming it unfairly on Republicans
c) Giffords brought this on herself because she voted for a bunch of things that angered "real Americans"
d) looser gun laws in Arizona would have prevented this

All of which are complete bullshit.
