The only noteworthy thing about this video is that the 108-page rebuttal is totally real.

Second Christmas! Note that it's 108 pages on just the Phantom Menace, he doesn't even touch on the second two reviews.

"I suspect that the one-sided praise stems from the sheer length of the RLM review. The average person likes to receive information in small doses, accepting what is told to them without bothering to examine anything in depth. Because the RLM review is seventy minutes long, I doubt that most people, including those who praise it to the skies, have actually paid attention while watching the whole thing through."

"This is the kind of crap that he gets away with, up until someone actually puts in the effort to fact check him...God, I feel dirty for even closely addressing this ridiculous nitpicking. Even assuming that what he says here is correct, it would've had no effect on the plot. No normal person even thinks about this stuff while watching a movie."

"These words from Yoda, which are very true, state another one of the Star Wars saga's main themes. That theme is how poisonous and insidious hatred can be, and how it can change who you are for the worse."

Yeah, it's hard to think on so many things when you are blind fanboy that needs to write a long ass essay to defend crap.

"I shall now read it aloud."

Wow, I flipped through a few pages of the 108 response. What a sad, passive-aggressive loser. He nitpicks every little thing in the RLM review, then bends over backwards to make excuses for Lucas' crappy writing.

Personally, I don't care if the RLM reviews are "fair" or not-- they're hilarious reviews by a serial killer. I mean, come on!

I remember people defending this insipid cartoon like crazy right when the whole thing was current...but, I mean, now? Still?

NewHeavenSalesman - 2011-01-17
on the forums, when even the nerds there pointed out that the review's main point was the trilogy's lack of thematic focus, and the segments on plot holes were just him having fun, JIM RAYNOR's response was basically "WELL HE SPENT MORE TIME ON THE PLOT POINTS SO YOU ARE WRONG."

He also tried to defend Qui-gon Jinn or however it's fucking spelled, as a well-written character, which should be used as proof of mental incapacity.

I read the whole thing. When RLM points out a genuine problem he agrees with, he'll acknowledge it, but when he doesn't agree with RLM about a genuine problem with the film, he's like "that's just nitpicking".

I know, that's why it was posted on POETV.com when it was released:

yes, but I figured that this was interesting enough to merit its own place here, amongst such rarified company as the mario 64 teleporting video

sosage - 2011-01-16
That link will have to do until the 108 page rebuttal on why you were docked a star is spell checked.

I would complain about posting the promo AFTER the material in discussion has already been submitted, but this is quality entertainment.
WHO WANTS DESSERT - 2011-01-16
I hear Black Monster Dicks 3 is the darkest of the trilogy, can't wait for his review!
