The lampooning, simultaneously, of 40s-business-movie storytelling and capitalist mythology is just wonderful. I love this movie.
I still can't believe that this is considered one of their 'bad' movies (other than Lady Killers, there is no such thing.)

I love this movie but cannot stand Leigh. I know what they were doing with her and she did a good job but I still hate her. She's so grating.
I wish that this scene and the movie's art direction had been in a movie good enough to deserve them.
Why wasn't that kid in school? 5 stars for Tim Robbins' "so cute but you hate him" character.
5 stars for the song making me think of the music from Conan and imagining Conan slaying children.
This movie is amazing.
Maybe they should have waited for more than 30 minutes before giving up on their business idea.
