I disagree. Instead of getting a token black guy and just totally giving him the shaft (like Ernie Hudson in... well anything he's ever been in) they just added a sterotypical but easily accessible Italian shitbag. Easily the best character on there. As far as the show itself, you got me there. I enjoyed parts of it when I was younger but I admit it was bad and I don't know why it got such high ratings.
because it was goddamn boring! it was bland! if it had a taste, it would have tasted like beige. sawdust mixed with glue has a better flavor than that show. and from it sprung the walking skeleton horrors we know as courtney cox and jennifer aniston. dont get me started on jennifer aniston. i've seen elementary school plays about boxes from christmas coming to life that had more passion than all the things shes ever done! she doesnt act, she goes into a room and does the same sort of personality over and over and over and over again. its not even a great personality to began with! why is she always cast as a free loving hippie? she seems like she is the most stuck up, up tight woman ever! and why wont she wear any colors except black and white and tan? is she murky fucking dismal from rainbow bright? GAH.
and that ross guy? he has that stupid puppy dog look constantly that made me want to kick him. his face was made literally to incite female abuse to be heaped upon him emotional and physically. the whole off again on again with rachel, they drug that out until someone slept with tom selleck. i dont remember who but why WHY in the 90s was someone in their early 30s sleeping with the poor man's Burt Reynolds? wait didnt he sleep with the boyish women with no tit..........
I'm apparently missing the joke here, but I am proud to say that I've never seen a single episode of Friends, which represents everything bad about an already pretty shitty decade - the 90's.
