I think Glenn Beck tries too hard to be a real life Spider Jerusalem.

"I'm a JOURNALIST"

Spider Jerusalem - 2011-02-01

Fuck a thousand dead dogs forever.

snothouse - 2011-02-01

FETCH MY SERIOUS GLASSES

Mother_Puncher - 2011-02-01

Always obsessed with "The Truth"

NewHeavenSalesman - 2011-02-01

I kind of see him more as a Beautiful Mind John Nash, but instead of magical floating equations its just dongs and naked arabic women.

Mother_Puncher - 2011-02-01

And my mind went to Beck just standing in from of a chalk board pondering while hyper realistic CG dicks spurting cum and cartoon Arabic women with exposed breasts floating around his head as he tries to suckle both.

Mother_Puncher - 2011-02-01

Also, not you, user that just happens to be named after Spider Jerusalem. I didn't even know you existed.

Aelric - 2011-02-01

I'd like to kick the top of his head off and shit in his still living brain.

Rovin - 2011-02-02

Someone beat you to it, Aelric.

TimidAres - 2011-02-01

This man is insufferable.
I still cant believe that anyone could believe this bullshit.

jangbones - 2011-02-01

yah, any time you think "ahh, who cares what some hate-monger bleats about, it's so silly it doesn't stand up to any kind of rational scrutiny at all", just remember that if he didn't get ratings, he wouldn't be on the air

so a significant amount of people regularly watch these deranged rants, and inform their political opinions with them

America is a country full of a great many very bad people

TimidAres - 2011-02-01

This sensationalist bullshit is ridiculous.
At this point I almost believe that China deserves to surpass us economically.
We had our golden age and wasted it on war against "communism". Also, using military scare tactics to secure oil and to keep the U.S dollar afloat?
We suck.

futurebot - 2011-02-01

"a significant amount of people regularly watch these deranged rants"

Beck is averaging about 2m viewers, or about 1% of the US's 200m eligible voters.

charmlessman - 2011-02-01

I KNOW he's lying, but it's still hard to pick out all the bullshit sometimes. I can pick out a bunch of lies and sensationalistic crap, but how much of it do I miss? And if I miss it, I can't imagine how many people just swallow it whole because they're not aware of his lies.

baleen - 2011-02-01

It helps if you'd had an aneurysm and you believe in Jesus and you're scared of things that are changing in the big city.

oswaldtheluckyrabbit - 2011-02-01

finding new and exciting ways to scam the elderly

VoilaIntruder - 2011-02-01

Looking like Drew Carey is all part of it. The man from the Price is Right wouldn't turn a bad deal.

Mother_Puncher - 2011-02-01

Neil Cavuto went on the air to say the collapse of Tunisia might directly affect the US because food tax went up 5%. That's all Fox does. This doesn't surprise me one bit.

rawelkij - 2011-02-01

So much ignorance here.

The Mothership - 2011-02-01

As a professor of history, I can say with some authority that this is truly amazing in its ignorance.

James Woods - 2011-02-01

I'm not amazed by this anymore. Just sad. My spirit is dead.

TinManic - 2011-02-01

I only watched the first couple of minutes. He's kind of right, actually. It's not liberal democracy the regular people of these countries crave.

jangbones - 2011-02-01

wow

just

wow

Dinanukht - 2011-02-01

Wow. No. He is not "kind of right." You really should probably watch the rest of the video. "Kind of right" is not a very apt description of what is transpiring here.

Egyptians have taken to the streets in the millions demanding free and fair elections and for Mubarak to step down. So please fill me in: how is it that they don't crave democracy?

If you're suggesting they might not get democracy, that might very well be true. But to suggest that they don't want it... well, I'm not convinced you're really paying attention.

fatatty - 2011-02-01

What they want is to turn northern Africa and southern Europe into a caliphate so that China can take over south west Asia and Russia can attack northern Europe. This is a coordinated plan by the Marxist Communists and the radical Islamisists.

You should probably watch the whole video before giving him any sort of credit.

godot - 2011-02-01

These protests are in part calls for democracy, but the role of rising food prices cannot be discounted. Ultimately, Mubarak is confronting the influence of WikiLeaks, the Russian drought, and QEII, and ultimately, overpopulation.

WikiLeaks revelations of the US diplomatic disdain for the corrupt Tunisian government precipitated the Tunisian riots. The failure of the Russian crop harvest has increased import costs of all grains. Bernanke's QEII, by placing hot money in the hands of traders, is also driving a commodity bull. But above all, Egypt has far more population than economic opportunities. It imports 40% of its food, second only to the Arab gulf states (who, unlike Egypt, still have net oil exports to pay for them). Demographers expect Egypt's population to nearly double again before the youth bulge matures and education/emancipation of females halts growth.

I think the demographers are optimistic. The population will fall to sustainable levels by other means.

Tuan Jim - 2011-02-01

"A snowball is forming"

...

"I think you can not get caught in the snowball"

Innocent Bystander - 2011-02-02

The QEII? What does a British luxury cruise ship have to do with this?

godot - 2011-02-02

quantitative easing II

Dinanukht - 2011-02-01

Glenn Beck
(Pointing to a chalkboard map of the Middle East):
"They don't like each other!"

In a twelve minute clip, that's about the only thing he got right.

"This becomes the caliphate... this becomes China." .... Yeah, not so much.

citrusmirakel - 2011-02-01

"I'm not going to give this to you in easy-to-swallow sound bytes, because I respect your intelligence too much.

Now, that said, let's go over to our Middle East chalkboard with frowny face stickers on it."

mon666ster - 2011-02-01

This is what Americans actually believe!

MongoMcMichael - 2011-02-01

Only half of us.

Black Napkins - 2011-02-01

Saying that this is what americans believe is suggesting that US political thought is a monoblock of reactionary politics, and is pretty standard anti-american-citizen (as opposed to the US gov't) tripe that is first indefensible and second incredibly boring. Given that this sort of thought puts you on the same moral footing as the slouch in the video, kindly consider eating a bag of dicks.

On the off chance that you're being "ironic" or whatever: that joke is incredibly played out, so may I suggest the nacho cheese flavored dicks?

kingarthur - 2011-02-01

We don't all believe this, however, there is a lot of feeling like we're surrounded with loud, armed, morons that do, at least in the South.

mon666ster - 2011-02-01

No more played out than the "bag/bowl of dicks" joke. Get a sense of humour and some new material douchebag.

phalsebob - 2011-02-01

I don't understand where they got this snowball with all those fires going on.

kingarthur - 2011-02-01

I don't want to share a planet with people who think like this anymore.

James Woods - 2011-02-01

I hear you buddy. I'd buy you a beer were proximity not n issue.

knowless - 2011-02-01

omfg arch duke ferdinand.

jesus.

this was my take on all this already, but .. still.

wackyakmed - 2011-02-01

It's fantastic when dumb white people fight against made up oppression. When brown people rise up against real oppression, it's the apocalypse.

chumbucket - 2011-02-01

marxists and islamistists

Hooker - 2011-02-01

It is crazy how accurate Network turned out.

That guy - 2012-08-20

please have these stars

dek863 - 2011-02-01

None of this makes any sense. His central fallacy is equating protests=chaos (among other things).

Rudy - 2011-02-01

You know, I used to kind of miss the Birchers. Now, not so much.

Buggerman - 2011-02-01

I got my concentrated hyperbole dose in the first 4 seconds.
"The TRUTH... has no AGENDA."

Who needs the full 12 mins?

Corpus Delectable - 2011-02-01

I got 5:24 in and then realized I was watching Glen Beck.

Tricky, jangbones. Very tricky.

charmlessman - 2011-02-01

BWWWAHHHHHH!!! LOOK OUT!!! BROWN PEOPLE!!!

simon666 - 2011-02-01

Well allow me to retort: BWWAAAAHHHHHHH!!! LOOK OUT BROWN PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2011-02-01

BWAAAAAAA!!! BROWN PEOPLE ARE ALL ALIKE!!!!!!

Zarathustra00 - 2011-02-01

Beck is a secret UN/EU one world conspirator plant. Around 5:50 he talks about how all of this in the Middle East will impact us while clearly pointing to a map of Europe. Q.E.D.

BOOSH - 2011-02-01

The death rattles of America's hegemony

James Woods - 2011-02-01

Thank god?

oswaldtheluckyrabbit - 2011-02-02

So what was Father Coughlin?

joelkazoo - 2011-02-01

Beck knows he only needs to convince the easily swain to keep his ratings. As such, he is terribly good at starting off with tiny little lies that they can easily digest, then moving on to bigger and bigger lies as he progresses, knowing that if his audience has digested the smaller lies, the bigger lies will be easier to believe.

BorrowedSolution - 2011-02-01

It's his way of satirizing Obama.

godot - 2011-02-01

The Right has their marching orders:

(Reuters) Israel shocked by Obama's "betrayal" of Mubarak

Senator_Unger - 2011-02-01

Conservatives don't just hate democracy when people vote against them, they despise its very existence, apparently.

ashtar. - 2011-02-01

IRELAND IS ALSO ON FIRE AND THIS IS ALL PUSHING UP INTO THE MIDDLE
BUY GOLD FROM GOLDINE

fourthguy - 2011-02-01

Did anyone else crack up when they saw the swarm of chalkboards at around 3:24?

Jet Bin Fever - 2011-02-03

Yes! He probably says something like "Einstein used them!" while simultaneously denying Einsteinian theories.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2011-02-01

It just now occurred to me that Mormonism says the world will end in fire and that he is basically using the Book of Mormon and combining it with paranoia and ignorance of any cultural or social events. To somehow connect all protests as part of one secret movement that wants to destroy capitalism and democracy is wait what the fuck does Archduke Ferdinand have to do with anything?

glendower - 2011-02-02

What pisses me off about this is that people like Beck are the first to complain that the Arab world doesn't value Democracy. But when anti-totalitarian protests occur, he's the first to take a shit on the movement.

Volbard - 2011-02-02

I'm not going to treat you like you're stupid. Now, here's a map of smiley and frowny faces.

dek863 - 2011-02-03

Indeed.

oswaldtheluckyrabbit - 2012-02-01
