It's more complicated than that. They believe there is a certain sort of notoriety that comes from being the last of anything, and they're going to try their hardest to be the last humans.

If that's the case, then notoriety among whom, exactly?

Cause they want everything to be the way they think it was in "the good ol' days". Which it never was, but there you go.

You know, the good ol' days, when the planet earth had a poisonous atmosphere composed mostly of carbon dioxide and ammonia.

Not suicidal, more that on some level they realize what a failure they are within a society. They're incapable of change so self-improvement is out of the question. The only solution left is to tear down the entire system and either remake it so they're in charge, or to not replace it and live in the lawless wild west.

That's why they make a fetish out of war and salivate at the thought of it: nothing else holds more promise for collapse.

I thought he was married? I remember seeing pictures of him with some young blonde woman who looked like she was making damn sure about the prenups and the will.

I'm pretty sure he's been married something like 4 or 5 times... and also one of the more outspoken loudmouths for the sanctity or marriage ironically enough (homosexuals).

He also likes "vacationing" in other countries where pills and boys can be gotten cheaply and easily.

Like Aaron Burr, he'll outlive all his detractors by sheer spite alone.
