There are not enough stars in the universe for this movie, which John Waters has described as his favorite. It is basically the grandmother of all failed all-star art movies, it's so ridiculous you have to see it to believe it.

The late 60's/early 70's were the time for those sort of failed star-studded big studio art films. They at least make for interesting failures.

Oh man, this movie is AMAZING. Taylor is insanely rich and dying, and Burton is -- well I won't ruin that. But it's all wrong in a way that is so, so right.

You should, it's a very messed-up film.

I don't if my experience was average, but it was a labor of love just making myself watch all the way to the end. Every character in this movie needed punched in the dick.
