I never understood how all these things happened to them. The Fred episode made some sense but was kinda fucked up.
Fred was a parody of Edward Gorey, Steven Sondheim AND Jhonen Vasquez in one gloriously fucked up 10 minutes.
"It's okay to be flawed" is actually a really good message to send to kids. Especially in the age of overachievement and pushy helicopter parents.
