At first I thought that that was a high-5 gone wrong, but he shoved an employee, and that ain't kosher. 5 for A: the guard going straight for a head shot, and B: the guy taking that shit like a champ.

SixDigitDebt - 2011-04-11 Using an intermediate weapon, you are most certainly not supposed to take a shot at someone's head. You're basically risking being charged for manslaughter if you happen to kill them. (You don't know their medical history, they could have a soft head.) No suspect is worth that risk.
If you have no other choice but to aim for the head, by all means, but the baton is intended to disable an individual. Aim for the limbs.
Because I don't care how much PCP a person is on. One broken leg at the kneecap or shin means they aren't standing and fighting.
That cop needs to be sorted out on that, but otherwise, good job.

spikestoyiu - 2011-04-12 Yeah, this guy was an enormous turd and I don't disagree with trying to subdue him at all, but going for the head first is a very strange tactic. Going for the legs seems much easier, safer, and more effective.

Something tells me the guard is a shit shot and only hit the guy's coat.

The proper response to getting tazed and batoned in the neck is to reply "Ooooooh!" mockingly.

The only exciting thing to ever happen at PNC Park since I've lived in Pittsburgh. Actually probably since they built it.
Also shut the fuck up woman. The guy is resisting arrest and clearly immune to pain.
|
spikestoyiu - 2011-04-12 There is always one shrill, awful woman screaming "Stop it! Stop hurting him!" in every taser video ever.

This guy and the Estonian mushroom guy should get together for drinks and swap tales.

I read that initially as "Taser Ineffective Against Patriotic Superman" but, no this is good footage. I guess.
