is the point of the concrete block just to make it hurt your knuckles?

Baldr - 2011-04-22

Some of the karate people do a variety of activities like this to strengthen their knuckles. The end result can look really weird:

It also increases your chances of developing rheumatoid arthritis later in life.

Just wear some weighted gloves/hand wraps when you fight or don't use your fists if you are on the streets.

The great thing about the internet is that it is the only place in the universe where people will give you unsolicited advice on how to survive on the "streets".

In any bareknuckle fight you will almost certainly break your hands, conditioning your knuckles is a waste of time when you can just elbow or knee.

Make sure the fight happens at a McDonalds, you may want to eat afterwards.

This is all good advice. I learned similar things in Bouncer school. (I am a Bouncer)

Chalkdust - 2011-04-22

if you drag the slider back and forth it's like he's doing regular-speed push-ups in stop-motion animation!

Dread Pirate Roberts - 2011-04-22

Yep. Also, if you drag it back and forth between :25 and :40, it looks like he's making out with the ground.

Nikon - 2011-04-22

This is almost as impressive as Chris-chan's 30 Pushups video.

Corpus Delectable - 2011-04-23

Something of the dignity of the ancient martial art of Karate is lost when he crawls forward to turn the camera off in his self-absorbed Youtube video.

I see no tin. I SEE NO TIN.
