A girl that I recall considering horrifyingly unattractive (warts, bad hair, weird smelling food at lunch, etc.) rapturously describes this game to me while I am lollygagging in P.E. In one of the early instances where I can actually remember formulating my primitive understanding of the risk/reward ratio, I realized that no matter how much I hated the girl and the conversation she felt was important to thrust upon me, I hated physical exertion far more, and decided to numbly feign interest rather than attempt the rope once more.
