Umm. Don't hit a cop. I know he gave her an open-hand smack in the face, but really, it's not like she wasn't impeding his duties. And before anybody says "We don't know what this was all about!! Hublargh!*@#)(!!@" If you did nothing wrong, just go down to the police station and work it out with your lawyer. The cops aren't going to decide not to arrest somebody if you start assaulting them.

I don't trust cops. I especially don't trust them not to whip my ass when I punch them. But, you know, I'm sure punching cops works out for the best all the time.
