The worst emotional manipulation in the game was "You're My Inspiration," when you had to help that little girl get over the grief of losing her father.

I mean seriously, goddamn you, EBA.

Five stars because I was super-jazzed when I finally pulled off this finale. The patterns are still stuck in my head.

Yeah, I agree with both of you on that.

I loved this game, way too much fun and the covers of the songs were really great. Especially Jumpin' Jack Flash, I prefer this version.

I have never once lost the "You're My Inspiration" level on any difficulty. Other songs may have kicked my ass, but I have never once allowed myself to fail at that stage.

I didn't cry at the end of this game, but I did come pretty close.

Most games: You made a mistake. Go back to the last checkpoint.

EBA: You made a mistake. Now watch a grieving little girl whose dad just died cry as she gets traumatized for life, and remember that it's your fault.

I had to stop playing this game because the harder difficulty levels were starting to put noticeable scratches in my DS screen.

It's not just fun, it's one of the few redeeming games for the system that ever managed to come up with something useful for the touch screen.

So of course it didn't sell nearly as well as it should have, and ended after just one US game and two in Japan. I'm waiting on them to realize that the iPhone has multi touch and would be a better platform.
