From what I gather from my limited knowledge of american media: Billo is kind of like Darth Vader, and Murdoch is the Emperor. Now Billo isn't truly evil, not like Murdoch, but he is addicted to the power of the dark side, he will on very rare occasions display some twitch of humanity, decency or rationality.

I always assumed Rupert was a prehistoric space monster coiled around the core of the earth once worshiped by the Aztecs. Its children live inside the colons of News Corp employees wherein they must be fed chickens daily by shoving them up the ass. One day Bill will fall in love with a Fox News intern and when she is sacrificed will claim the mythical Sword of Balance and slay the Rupert at the core of the earth.

The McK - 2011-07-14

I enjoy how this implies that Fox News interns are chickens, and that O'Reilly fucks chickens, all without saying anything of the sort.

Seriously though, Rupert Murdoch is a Serpent Person like Josh Wellmeat from Dragon magazine #197.

Murdoch isn't evil, he is just completely unrestrained by any moral restraint. He would burn down an orphanage for a soda.

Roger Ailes is truly evil, the propagandist, the great deceiver. Rupert paid for it but Doctor Ailes has truly polarized discourse and turned the world into a much uglier place. Ailes is more responsible than any other single human for America's Nixon renaissance.

The whole "asking questions to show you know more than someone" dodge has one single, definable flaw.

Bill for the next ICP video.

CrimsonHyperSloth - 2011-07-15

Yeah Bill, receive that giant, glittery, golden qqoqq. Yeah, receive it nice and slow... it's okay, the tears make this better for me... What? What about you?

kingofthenothing - 2011-07-15

that's how I reacted when the teacher took my smiley sticker away, too.

People like this will just shout "Oh yeah, well how'd THAT get there???" over and over until you run out of answers, and then they'll have "won" the argument. It's useless to even try.

It's human nature when a person can't explain something, they seek an answer. Often times, you can present increasingly absurd answers and people will still believe them. Back when religion was created, it was a very important device in order to supply people who craved knowledge with information. This resulted in people being controlled as a unit and created larger human congregations, leading directly to modern life as we know it. It didn't matter if the person who made the answer actually knew it was true, or just assumed it did. People were attracted to someone who sounded like they knew what they were talking about.

The issue is, of course, that during modern times we can produce the actual real answers to these questions. There are many people who are satisfied to accept religion for a moral code that allows them comfort in their actions in this modern time. Unfortunately, there are still plenty of other people who treat science as a competing religion, since it produces a conflicting answer to the one that is being used to control other people they themselves would rather control.

Thus, if you're wondering why does this religions man act so dumb, there you go.

voodoo_pork - 2011-07-15

Oh, Billo. Will you ever win?

The McK - 2011-07-15

"condescending" is a rough word to misspell. I'm kind of disappointed it's not linked.
