Before anybody bashes Huckabee's organization and other assorted Republicans for taking advantage of September 11th...what do you think they have been doing for the last nine and a half years?
Best thing that ever happened to them.

"Yeah, we only have one token black person in New York, but we gave her a tiger stripe leopard/giraffe camo shirt, dreads, AND a beret! How much more African do you people want?"
Props for being able to say with a straight face that America is more united than ever before.

|
Cena_mark - 2011-08-03 We were more united than ever before, but it didn't last long when the liberals went back to hating this country.
|
Cena_mark - 2011-08-03 Well that's actually too simple a statement. We were unified, but then liberals returned to their old ways. They again started bitching about the 2000 election. And they started feeling sorry for the poor poor terrorists who were getting bombed and locked away in gitmo, and they started to believe that America deserved 911.
|
MongoMcMichael - 2011-08-03 Think back, Tugboat. Who could it be? Who could hate you enough to want to see you as a broken, defeated man? How about a clue?
How about high school? 2001. I'd watch from the corners while you'd snatch the scarf from the only Muslim girl's head. You desperately tried to get someone to make her the 'monkey in the middle' until she held you down and gave you the dreaded 720-Phoenix-Splash Purple Nurple. Think about it, Tugboat.
At the time, you said it was the prayers, the demandments. You said it was for America. Now that you pledge allegiance to a would-be hero who uses the USMC for his unlawful gain, your words are as frail and as feeble as John Cena before he started using steroids.
Think back, Tugboat.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Xenocide - 2011-08-03 See, here's the problem. Different people have different definitions of unity.
For most of the country, it meant sharing our grief and our pain as a nation, it meant putting political horseshit aside and loving each other because we were human beings and that's what you do when a tragedy occurs. We were damn well united.
But there's a few people (and most of them have AM radio shows) who define unity as "everyone agreeing with us forever." So when it turned out that the attacks hadn't magically caused everyone to believe that war and tax cuts are the solution to all the world's problems, they declared that liberals had ruined unity, when in fact all we did was kill their pipe dream of a glorious far-right American hivemind.

EvilHomer - 2011-08-04 Well, why couldn't the liberals have just sucked it up and called them Freedom Fries, huh?
It's cuz liberals hate freedom.

So not only are we ignoring Obama's involvement in getting Bin Laudin, we're also implying that Saddam was a member of Al Quaida.
Funny how the only time conservatives are interested in education is when it involves straight-up lying to children.

The way they composed the rock next to Bin Laden made me think they were going to shoot it or something. No. I think they just wanted to emphasize that they have a lot of big rocks just mulling around doing nothing.

Chalkdust - 2011-08-04 that wasn't supposed to be a reply.
well, while I'm here, those rocks are clearly unemployed minority rocks on welfare

The Red Dawn remake is coming soon right? The sound of dozens of frustrated angry white men masturbating at the same time will fill the hearts and minds of america.

Oh sure, but if it was Ward Churchill's 9/11 Cartoon for Kids, complete with CIA agents training mujahideen, Palestinian freedom fighters being rounded up by American-backed Israeli commandos, and hook nosed Halliburton executives reclining on big piles of blood-stained oil money while Condi performs a sensuous fan dance for them, you'd be eating this shit up.

It bothers me to think that there will be a crop of young folks who will recall these images when thinking of one of our nation's most recent tragedies. Not only were the Twin Towers toppled, but sitting through the Sega Dreamcast graphics of this for 90 minutes will only increase the terror.
