As some of you might know I'm somewhat of an ardent enthusiast of lolcows of all denominations.

This guy is not only hilariously insane but he also has a penchant for engaging in amusingly illegal financial enterprises.

He's a compulsive gambler who now owes the Canadian government around half a million dollars as a result of not paying taxes on gambling profits.

He also ran a gambling ring out of five different apartments in the same building.

He cannot get a bank account because the government will seize the assets for the taxes he owes on his gambling habits.

When the judge told him he either had to not play cards for three years or take 21 days in jail, he chose to sit for 21 days in jail because he stand the prospect of illegally gambling.

I'm suspecting that this pitch was a last ditch effort to work himself out of the tremendous debt he currently owes, and the fruits of his endeavor are here for everyone to enjoy.

He reminds me a bit of my grandfather, who was a jovial and funny man, but also a manic depressive and a compulsive gambler who decided to design and sell a train system to Miami. He did not sell a train system to Miami.

He's pitching anarcho-casino-syndicalism?

He's a crazy old man addicted to the thrill of easy money. I think he'd co-opt any political movement so long as he got in on the ground floor and was entitled to a cut of the profits.

He's a hilarious scam artist who is audacious enough to detail his criminal activity to an audience on the basis that it somehow speaks to his credit.

One of his videos involves him complaining about being caught out for doctoring an appeal and including claims that were already previously thrown out by another judge.

He also classified defamation in his filings as the CBC cutting up clips of his pitch to the members of the Dragon's Den and laughing at him.

To this the judge probably lol'ed as well.

He's gonna be soooo pissed when he hears about Bitcoins.

This guy ran as in independent in my city for the federal election 3 years ago. During a candidates' debate that he wasn't invited to, he stood in front of the stage and went into an endless tirade, calling everyone in the room 'commies' and had to be dragged out by the police.

At least he made elections interesting around here for a bit.

I lost it at "They put this time marker which is always put in the exact same place for everyone right over the highly important text on my hat. I'll let you decide why they did that."

I think that these people secretly believe that if they make five reasonable (if still rather insane) arguments in a row, they get a bonus round and then can claim anything they want and everyone will believe them.

5 for clip, -1 for "lolcow". Cut that out.

I had to google that, and now that I know what it is I agree. Does that make me old?

chumbucket - 2011-08-11

His campaign motto should be "What's Goin' On?"

Brantford Bucks. I think Brantford would actually back that...
