What Adult Swim didn't forsee was that the DVD sets would become far and away the biggest sellers they've ever had. Which more than makes up for any ratings issues.

I actually bought a bootleg copy of the first season on DVD because there was like a 3 year gap between when it aired and when the DVD got released. I think I'm all caught up so now I can start watching religiously again.

Probably not for a while. Pre-production for season 5 only started in June. I think the special that's airing on Sunday is the only new VB we'll be getting before 2012.
