A little research and I figured it out. The French-language version of the show, "3 et moi", was nominated for a Prix Gemeaux, the French-language version of the Gemini Award. In fact, the English version of the show is not airing in Canada at all, and can only be found on Disney Channel Asia. Look it up.
So it's FRENCH Canadians who don't have any taste (or possibly just don't have enough cartoons to fill a category)
