I hope they'll be plenty of banana demonstrations.

Riskbreaker - 2012-01-30

If the country is so fucked up, why bring six kids to this world, and to live in say country?

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2012-01-30

Because Jesus God prophet apocalypse sinner-hell abba-dabba-doo, amen, that's why.

And something to do with Adam Thicke.

chumbucket - 2012-01-30

Nah, we don't need a new solution, let's just take everything back. Thanks for taking charge on this idea Kirk.

Riskbreaker - 2012-01-30

I always love the whole "everything was back in the good ol days" logic these guys throw around. If youtube existed in the 50s they will be crying about rock n roll, if it was in 1860, they will be complaining about the irish, and so on.

Xenocide - 2012-01-30

Where's my caveman nostalgia, dammit? And these people call themselves conservatives!

IrishWhiskey - 2012-01-30

All the history that matters started a few thousand years ago, morality and law were imparted through Moses and Jesus, and was developed into civilization by Western Europeans, the best of whom went to America to establish a pure and perfect government that others are increasingly ruining by getting their grubby little hands all over it.

At every point in history, the existence of people outside this tradition is regarded like the someone loudly farting at a dinner party; to be studiously ignored, except as a standard you can favorably compare yourself against.

Oscar Wildcat - 2012-01-30

The guy has a great point; but unfortunately for us we can't go back and conquer an entirely new land, commit genocide against it's native population, and enslave another to develop the agricultural base. But we can dream, can't we Kirk?

EvilHomer - 2012-01-30

We could've done that to Iraq if the traitors back home hadn't pussed out on us.

Xenocide - 2012-01-30

I've traveled all around the country, and reached some incredibly vague conclusions that are somehow related to a statue.

Most important journey of my life!

IrishWhiskey - 2012-01-30

"We establish no religion in this country, we command no worship, we mandate no belief, nor will we ever. Church and state are, and must remain, separate.

At the same time that our Constitution prohibits state establishment of religion, it protects the free exercise of all religions. And walking this fine line requires government to be strictly neutral."
- Ronald Reagan

"History, I believe, furnishes no example of a priest-ridden people maintaining a free civil government. This marks the lowest grade of ignorance of which their civil as well as religious leaders will always avail themselves for their own purposes."
- Thomas Jefferson

"Consider the Banana."
- Kirk Cameron

CrimsonHyperSloth - 2012-01-30

That is some fine cherry picking of quotes and made me quite happy.

Stars for you.

Vaidency - 2012-01-30

Did that guy that there have been 78 superpowers? I think I could only name about a dozen or so, and some of those are even pushing it.

For a Kirk Cameron video, though, this was pretty boring and non-inflammatory.

Cherry Pop Culture - 2012-01-30

I just love the fact Kirk Cameron has views that too many people have in this country. "If only we went back to what the founding fathers wanted and envisioned!" It's not really the most accurate phrase; too many politicians had too many ideas of what freedom and taxes meant. Hell, not everyone saw eye-to-eye on the military!

CrimsonHyperSloth - 2012-01-30

Oh bitch, you didn't just question America's sacred Army! It's always been loved and awesome through out history, NO QUESTIONS.

Either you're for it and worship that HOT PHALLIC GUN BARREL or you're a terrorist that hates them. NO MIDDLE GROUND.

kamlem - 2012-01-30

I'm sure all the families with same sex parents are grateful that Kirk thinks they are worth fighting for.

Siebenstein - 2012-01-31

So I guess the message here is that we need more government funding for monument preservation.

Jet Bin Fever - 2012-01-31

Let's reinstate slavery, wipe out some injuns, spread pestilence, rape every resource out of the earth we can with our big metal dicks, and burn people if they don't agree with our hollow interpretation of a creator! Woo!

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2012-01-31

Most people don't realize we don't have the natural resources to allow everyone to own their own business anymore. But the right latches onto the statistic that the majority in the 19th century used to, and while they do this they support corporations that make it impossible for everyone to own their own business.

my head hurts
