Society in fanservice harem anime tends to be a single-gendered, matriarchal affair, places that are basically lifted straight from the pages of utopian feminist science-fiction. Of course women are going to be talking about things other than men - there's only one man in the entire story!!! And this Last Man is typically an easily-overlooked beta-male, a nondescript 'cuck' who does nothing more than stand in the corner, leering at butts as the various powerful female characters around him go off and get shit done.

I love pointing out that a lot of girl-on-girl pornos pass the Bechdel test in their bullshit introduction stories. As long as the two women have names and talk about anything other than dick:

"Hey Sally, that looks like a great salad you're eating."
"I'll eat YOUR salad Stacy!"

That story passes the Bechdel test.
