Old_Zircon - 2007-08-14 Blue Cheer are amazing. You should definitely check them out. They were arguably the first real heavy metal band, and marketed themselves as "the loudest band in the world" (which, in 1967, was probably true). This was their one big hit.

The album cover was clearly not "Vincebus Eruptum", thus ruining my suspension of disbelief, unless perhaps he simply stopped to sneer at the sleeve art of another, lesser album.

Old_Zircon - 2007-10-03 You can see it better on the DVD, and it is. It's the silver foil cover, too, not the later blue-on-white one. At least in one shot.
