It doesn't have quite the same punch as "Read a Book" but it still needed to be said (unfortunately).

Ironically, after watching him I realize this is exactly the kind of life lesson I'd want to impart to my children.

It was probably controversial because lazy parents don't like to be reminded of their obligations.
