Glad this looks to be the work of a 527 group. The last thing Obama needs is to look like he's stooping down to McCain's level, when he could easily keep calm and coast into the white house.

If he were stooping to McCain's level he would be saying that McCain murdered airmen with his incompetence on the Forrestal fire, or he would be talking about all the affairs McCain had. This is pretty relevant. McCain was a corrupt accomplice to the Savings & Loan Scandal, we are now experiencing the S&L scandal again, only several times larger. They were just waiting for McCain's campaign to do something obtusely negative like call Obama a TERRORIST, so now at least McCain can't play the "they aren't sticking to the issues" card effectively.

Knuckles - 2008-10-06

I said "look like." Any negative campaigning risks making the mudslinger look bad, and the republicans would certainly try to spin a direct Obama reference to the Keating Five as "look at this inexperienced neophyte, unfairly attacking an experienced war hero with dishonorable lies." And people would buy it, even if the McCain campaign themselves are making much more grave, and false, accusations.

Cap'n Profan!ty - 2008-10-06

In fairness, McCain had no actual culpability in the Forrestal fire. But I get the point--it would be guilt by association. The advantage here is that McCain's associations are not only demonstrably real, but they're also completely relevant to what's going on now.

The people who will keep at the well, drinking McCain's tainted water, will do so no matter what. But the "undecideds," whoever they are, are breaking ever more sharply for Obama. Good.

there's a huge difference between recorded history and weak links, it's time to remind us all who was actually involved here and why.

Cena_mark - 2008-10-06

Sorry but the libs have the market cornered on silly documentaries. Fereighheit 911, Loose Change, Jesus Camp.

I already know how this problem went down. The Dems forced the banks to give bad loans. Period.

baleen - 2008-10-06

It's not a documentary, it's an attack ad.
And of course, you're wrong, but you don't really care, you're just here to jerk off. You're boring and stupid.

zatojones - 2008-10-06

Reading the word "Fereighheit" made my head hurt a little

NoCode - 2008-10-06

The people who made Jesus Camp were an Evangelical Christian and a Catholic, who just wanted to show what Jesus camps and the kids who attend them are like, not to sway viewers one way or the other. Have you actually watched the film? It's just that Jesus camps are so sinister all on their own that even when they're portrayed in a totally neutral light they still look like the evil brainwashing shit they are.

Also, Fahrenheit, you goddamned tard.

You are honestly a really, really bad troll. As in, completely ineffective and transparent.
