That's too bad. I once went to hear a (real) Mayan new age dude talk about his book about peace and love and stuff, and everyone was all hippy-ing out and suddenly he broke in, "And let's not have any more of this ridiculous evolution theory." The whole room went silent while he rambled on about how humans had actually DEvolved from angelic beings with wings and golden skin and four arms or something, and how the fossil record actually supported this model of events rather than that other lie. He had slides showing unfossilized dinosaur bones found in mineshafts. The applause was markedly uncertain. Ever since then, this has been my fallback stance to avoid real discussion with ID proponents.

Well, good for that guy. I'd say wingless angels is a lot more likely than God breathing into mud and/or rib-babies.
