Binro the Heretic - 2012-05-10 I don't think it left then returned under its own power. It seems to be at the mercy of the currents. You can see how it drifts in the same direction as the myriad smaller particles.
The smaller rippling movements look like they're caused by the wash from the ROV's propellers as it moves into position.
Also, there's a difference between a whale placenta and a whale uterus.
